Your inbox, read to you on the road.
VoxMail reads your unread Gmail out loud. Say reply, archive or next, and keep your eyes where they belong.
Three words run your inbox.
- Reply
- Speak your answer. VoxMail reads it back and sends it when you say send.
- Archive
- The email leaves your inbox and VoxMail moves on to the next one.
- Next
- Skip it for now. It's marked read and stays in your inbox for later.
Made for the drive, from first email to last.
Open VoxMail, sign in with Google and connect your Gmail account. VoxMail then starts with your unread inbox and reads each email aloud, beginning with who it is from and what it is about, followed by the message itself.
When an email ends, VoxMail asks what you would like to do: reply, archive, next, or stop. Answer out loud and it carries on, so there is nothing to tap or type while you are behind the wheel.
Replying works like a short conversation. Say reply, then speak your answer in your own words. VoxMail reads it back to you and asks you to say send or cancel. Nothing goes out until you say send.
You can also hear a sample before you sign in. Press the button at the top of this page to listen to an example email and spoken reply, with each word lit up as it is read. VoxMail is built for iOS and Android.
It only acts when you tell it to.
Sign in with Google and connect Gmail. VoxMail reads your unread inbox, and nothing is archived or sent without a spoken command.
Emails aren't stored on our servers. Disconnect Gmail at any time from your Google account.
Why listen to your email instead of reading it?
Looking at a phone screen takes your eyes off the road. VoxMail turns your unread inbox into something you can listen to, so your hands stay on the wheel and your attention stays on the drive.
Time in the car is often when messages pile up. Whether it is a daily commute, a long trip or a quick run to the shops, VoxMail lets you work through your unread email without looking at a screen, one message at a time.
Every email is read in the same simple order: who it is from, what it is about, and then the message itself. After that, VoxMail asks what you would like to do. Because there are only four short commands to remember, reply, archive, next and stop, you can use it without thinking about it.
You stay in control throughout. VoxMail does not archive or send anything unless you say so, and every reply is read back to you before it goes out. If you change your mind, say cancel and the reply is dropped.
When you reach the end of your unread emails, you are done. There is nothing to tidy up afterwards, and the messages you skipped are still waiting in your inbox.
