Privacy policy

This policy explains what VoxMail collects, why, and who processes it. VoxMail is operated by Netcetera OÜ, registry code 16768111, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia ("we").

What we access

  • Your account. When you sign in with Google, our authentication provider, Clerk, receives your name, email address and profile picture.
  • Your Gmail. When you connect Gmail, you grant access through Google's consent screen. VoxMail reads unread messages in your inbox, marks messages as read, archives messages and sends replies, only when you ask it to.
  • Your voice. Spoken commands and replies are turned into text by Apple's speech recognition on your iPhone. Apple may process audio on its servers under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive audio recordings.

What we store

We don't store the content of your emails. Messages are fetched when you open the app, shown or read aloud on your device, and discarded. Our servers keep only what is needed to link your VoxMail account to your Gmail connection.

Who processes your data

  • Clerk, for sign-in and account management.
  • Composio, which holds the Gmail authorization and makes Gmail requests on your behalf.
  • Google, as the provider of your Gmail account.
  • Apple, for text-to-speech and speech recognition on iOS.
  • Expo (EAS Hosting), which runs our server.

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use your email content to train AI models.

Google user data

VoxMail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

  • Disconnect Gmail at any time from your Google account permissions.
  • Ask us to delete your VoxMail account by emailing hello@netcetera.co. We'll delete your account and Gmail connection within 30 days.
  • If you're in the EU or UK, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your data, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

VoxMail isn't intended for anyone under 16.
